Express Auto Wash Vehicle Safety Guidelines and Terms


Before Washing – What To Know

  • Maximum Height: Please ensure that your vehicle does not exceed a height of 7 feet.
  • Maximum Width: 84” is the maximum width the wash can accept – this unfortunately excludes Ford Raptors, Dodge TRXs, and Dually Pickup Trucks from being washed.
  • No Bike Racks: Bike racks are not permitted in the car wash.
  • No Roof Racks: Vehicles with roof racks are not allowed.
  • No Ski Box or Rooftop Carriers: Vehicles equipped with ski boxes or Rooftop carriers are restricted.
  • No Slip Tanks
  • No pre-existing damaged vehicles

Safety Precautions & Pre Wash Procedures

Before entering Express Car Wash, please adhere to the following safety guidelines:

  • Fold-In Side Mirrors: We recommend folding in your side mirrors before entering the wash.
  • Remove External Accessories: Please remove antennas, tow hitches, magnetic signs, and other external accessories protruding from the vehicle body.
  • Empty Open Truck Beds: Debris and objects in open truck beds may damage equipment; ensure they are empty.
  • Ensure automatic wipers are turned off (if applicable)
  • Ensure automatic park brake is disabled (if applicable)

Not Allowed

Do not attempt to use our car wash if your vehicle falls into any of the following categories:

  • NO Dually vehicles
  • NO Auxiliary fuel tanks (Slip Tanks)
  • NO Uncovered fifth wheels
  • NO Excessively muddy vehicles
  • NO Excess Snow

Vehicle Loading Procedure

Our team will assist you in safely loading your vehicle onto our automated conveyor. Follow all hand signals and verbal instructions. Once loaded, keep your vehicle in neutral throughout the tunnel, with your hands off of the steering wheel. Do not apply brakes, change gears, or turn off the vehicle unless instructed by our team. Exit the tunnel only when the signal light indicates it is safe to do so.

Free Vacuums Usage

Enjoy complimentary self-service high-power vacuum stalls for interior detailing. Be mindful of the nozzle’s power and avoid accidentally vacuuming up belongings. Please limit use to 10 minutes, especially during peak hours. Do not use vacuums for liquids or hazardous materials.

Liability Notice & Responsibility

Express Auto Wash accepts responsibility for wash equipment malfunctions only. Customers assume full responsibility for damages, including but not limited to:

  • Antennas, mirrors, trim, and other accessories
  • Non-factory equipment
  • Hood ornaments and logos
  • Windshields
  • Pin-striping, graphics, and repaints
  • Pre-existing vehicle conditions
  • Parts blown off by dryers

Enter the wash at your own risk. Failure to follow procedures may result in vehicular damage and your liability.
